Woke up 4am to quite a long backread from our CVAP - Batch 1 group chat and decided to finish our SIX VOXtes-V fandub. This was part of our Day 4 group activity that was done over Zoom, and we felt it wasn't delivered properly due to lag and other technical constraints.

Finished the alpha version around noon, as I had to bounce back and forth between Adobe Premiere Pro and Audition. Which was well and good because this lead me to discovering that you can preview videos in Audition directly. I was trying so hard to edit the audio tracks on Premiere, then if it needed some tweaking, had to open in back in Audition. Which was pretty cumbersome, to say the least.

So there I was, editing all the audio tracks (well, most of them) into their proper places, normalizing and cleaning up some little bit of noise here and there, as well as recording the mecha-kaiju dialogue and sound effects, when I realized we didn't have any plans for the title and credit rolls. Thanks to Ms. Des for stepping up!

Aside from this, Netflix just notified about a new isekai anime -- Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious, which I've never read before. So helped myself to a handful of episodes, lazily watching and admiring the voicework done. In the back of my mind, I was also wondering how we can fandub this into Tagalog and leave the rest of the audio intact.

We can only dream. For now.
