It's true that time flies when you're having fun.

One minute you're busy wondering how to even begin your first audio recording, the next minute we're already saying goodbye to the people we grew up with during the workshop. I know ~4 weeks is not a very long time, but each of the days in those precious 4 weeks kept you on your toes, juggling between your "day job" as well as your "night job" -- that is, diligently honing your craft as a voice artist.

The last workshop day proved to be bittersweet, as we were all looking forward to this day and then realizing that this is the last day we'll ever be completely together as a batch. Sure, we still have our group chats and group-group chats, but the day-long workshops every Saturday have become part of our schedule: Sunday is rest day, Monday to Friday are paspasan days -- "Gotta finish the assignments," "What else do we need to do?", "Who turned off the lights?". Maybe not the last one, but it sort of feels that way as you struggle to complete and come to terms with recording a video testimonial that will be shared publicly.

Personally, I haven't really "shared" any work on my personal FB page. I have, however, posted some of the assignments I've completed on my brand page, such as this one. And the wifey, who is my #1 fan, shares to the family and our friends. I have yet to make something that is "shareable", is my take on this. And maybe, just maybe, I won't have to share anything on my FB... and that time will come when people will just ask questions such as, "Ikaw yung nasa ano, no?" or "I saw you on something-something the other day!".

In any case, the goal now is to get more VO experience hours by producing content -- either through practice or actual work-work. I have Sir Choy and CreatiVoices to thank for this, as they have proven to be just what I needed at this time.

So it's not really goodbye that we shold be saying... but, hello and I look forward to working with you.
